I belong to the Sindh [culture], which is made up of a community of loving and caring people. Actually, it was in my Sindh village where an older man first inspired me. He was known [in my village] for helping others without asking for anything in return. One day I asked this man, “why do you help others without asking to be compensated”? He replied softly, “ young man I do all that I do, not to be rewarded, but I am doing all this to service humanity”. ( ler mais)

I believe that volunteering is playing a large role in the renaissance of communities and countries, and it helps with the development of others. Volunteering is an important part of my life and I do not think my time and effort going after my duty not to help others defend their rights and physical and moral integrity. ( ler mais)

I am in inspired by what I've seen in my environment and community . I am inspired by issues such as poverty, illiteracy, war, and so forth. I am inspired by the fact that more and more of my peers around the world are getting involved in issues that affect my community and I believe that I too can be a part of this noble process. I am inspired by my desire to make a difference in my community, my country, my continent, and my world. ( ler mais)
